Looking for a fun way to spend Independence Day? Meridian Ranch is bringing the community together for a full day of patriotic celebration on Saturday, July 4, with two exciting events taking place at the Meridian Ranch Fieldhouse.

Start the Day with the Stars, Stripes & Strides 5K

Lace up your running shoes and kick off the holiday at the Stars, Stripes & Strides 5K, beginning at 8 a.m.

Whether you’re running, jogging, or walking, it’s a great way to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary while enjoying the active lifestyle Meridian Ranch is known for.

Registration includes a race bib, swag bag, T-shirt, finisher’s medal, and post-race celebration. Registration is $20 for Meridian Ranch residents and $30 for non-residents.

Continue the Celebration at Falcon Freedom Days

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Falcon Freedom Days brings the festivities to the Fieldhouse with an afternoon of family-friendly fun, including:

Local vendors
Food trucks
Live music
Petting zoo
Bounce houses
Activities for all ages
